La Masa Empanada Bar

La Masa Empanada Bar was one of the very first restaurants I tried on E Brady St. when I first moved to Milwaukee and now it's one of my favorites!

If you've never had an empanada, it's a Latin American oven-baked bread filled with a variety of savory ingredients. La Masa's menu ranges from favorite empanada flavors to unique recipes featuring local Wisconsin-sourced meats and cheese.

Beside the food, I love La Masa because it has a fantastic ambiance and the decor is so welcoming! Would definitely recommend sitting at the bar if you are just wanting to grab a quick drink and bite.

Pictured above is the Pink Peppercorn Cairpirinha cocktail. This cocktail was delicious! It's really unique with the candy. I would say the drink is a little tart while the candy is sweet so it's a perfect combination!

The last time I dined at La Masa I got the La Masa Trio and ordered The Cuban, Grilled Chicken Pesto and the Black Bean, Chorizo & Cheddar with Chimichurri Sauce and a side of Jicama Slaw. I think my favorite this time was the Black Bean, Chorizo & Cheddar, it was spicy, unique and had just incredible flavors!

If you have never been to La Masa, I would highly recommend it. It's one of my go-to places to casually grab happy hour with my friends. You guys wont be disappointed!
